VPS operating systems, installed in one click

VeloxMedia runs eight operating systems on every plan: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, CentOS, Alpine, and Windows Server. Choose one at checkout or switch later. Each install finishes in about 60 seconds and boots with full root or administrator access.

Every system installs from the control panel with one click. Reinstall or rebuild the same server on a different distribution whenever you want, wipe it back to a clean state, or boot into rescue mode to fix a broken system. A browser-based console provides VNC, SSH, and RDP without leaving the portal.

Whichever image you pick, it runs on the same platform: distributed replicated NVMe storage, a dedicated IPv4, unmetered data transfer, and clustered high availability with automatic failover. The operating system pages below cover install steps, defaults, and reinstall options for each one.

  • Eight operating systems: seven Linux distributions plus Windows Server
  • One-click install, reinstall, and rebuild in about 60 seconds
  • Full root or administrator access from first boot
  • Rescue mode plus browser-based VNC, SSH, and RDP console
  • Same replicated NVMe storage and automatic failover under every image
  • Live in London, Amsterdam, US East, and US West

Linux distributions

Seven Linux distributions cover the common server workloads. Ubuntu and Debian handle general-purpose hosting, web stacks, and container hosts. AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux are RHEL-compatible enterprise rebuilds for teams that need long support windows and predictable packages. Fedora tracks newer kernels and libraries for fast-moving development. CentOS stays available for existing setups. Alpine ships a minimal footprint that suits containers and lightweight services. Each one installs with a single click and boots with full root access.

Windows Server

Windows Server installs from the same one-click flow and boots with administrator access. Reach it over RDP through the browser-based console or from your own client on the dedicated IPv4. Windows images run on the same distributed NVMe storage and redundant infrastructure as the Linux ones, so they get the same automatic failover and zero-downtime live migration during host maintenance.

One-click install, reinstall, and rescue

Install any operating system from the control panel in about 60 seconds. To start clean or move to a different distribution, run a one-click reinstall or rebuild in place, with no support ticket required. Rescue mode boots a separate recovery environment so you can repair a bootloader, reset access, or pull off files when the main system will not start. The browser-based console gives you VNC, SSH, and RDP access even when the server's own networking is down.

The same platform under every image

Your OS choice does not change the hardware guarantees. Every server gets distributed replicated NVMe storage, one dedicated IPv4, unmetered data transfer, and full root or administrator access. Clustered high availability with automatic failover and zero-downtime live migration keep the machine online through maintenance. Backups, snapshots, CPU and memory and bandwidth graphs, reverse DNS, firewall rules, and vulnerability monitoring are built into the same control panel.

Regions, plans, and pricing

Deploy in any live region: London, Amsterdam, US East in Ohio, and US West in California, with Warsaw, Montreal, and Utah coming soon. The six plans run from Micro at 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, and 20 GB NVMe up to Max at 8 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, and 200 GB NVMe. Pricing starts at $5 per month, or $6 in Amsterdam, with no setup fees. Annual billing includes two months free, and payment goes through secure hosted card checkout.

VPS operating systems, installed in one click questions

Which operating systems can I install?

Eight: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, CentOS, Alpine, and Windows Server. All install with one click from the control panel and boot with full root or administrator access.

Can I change the OS after I deploy?

Yes. Use one-click reinstall or rebuild from the portal to wipe the server and install a different distribution in place. The process takes about 60 seconds and does not require a support ticket.

Do I get full root or administrator access?

Every server includes full root access on Linux and administrator access on Windows Server from first boot. You control packages, kernels, users, and firewall rules yourself.

What if the OS will not boot?

Boot into rescue mode from the control panel to repair the bootloader, reset access, or recover files. The browser-based console gives you VNC, SSH, and RDP access even when the server's own networking is down.
